stop at the spot in close on the way out to try for live bait for 1 drop got nothing then got to boxes-1 at about 5.45am was about 55metres outside the mark and was a little slow early but then from about 6.30am till 8am caught most of the snapper and the 2 parrotfish bitting straight away as soon as it hit the bottom then about 8.30am lost something really big on floater maybe big snapper or cobia going off the fight. moved spots about 9am probably about halfway between boxes-1 and the big fish mark on the same line of reef, same thing was quiet to start off with but got a few snapper and the moses perch butcher's prick and got the spotty mack on the floater on pillie just as we were about to leave at 10.30am. caught the 2 moses perch and 3 butcher's pricks and about 3 snapper on the jig rod.
