crappie started biting the first week of December. I started in first part of January. Water temp was 45 to 46 degrees 35 to 37 foot of water. Wind was usually 10 to 15 out of South and a front came in the next day on most of my trips. caught 11 one Saturday that was the best I did. outside temperature was around 50 to 60 for the high.
