pond iced over only one peg free ice moved 1pm caught 4 carp on pole 1 perch maggot had fish on bomb corn lost it also one carp maggot white and red lost it. Silver side free from ice as from 3pm but quite clear good luck anyway Carp side today clear of cormorants and gooseanders only peg clear of ice peg 10 very hard fishing ice moved through peg at about 1pm so had to wait half a hour before I could fish my peg again only 3 bites before 1pm but lost when they ran under the ice. Colin Burditt and wife turned up and 4 carp not small ones came to the net, ooooooooooosh I thought then nothing about right for me put maggot one and a Oz perch came out then the rain and wind came so off I went happy days..
